Privacy Policy

TinyUseful is a static utility website with eleven browser-based tools, each on its own page. This page explains what data we collect, what we don't, and why. The short version: we do not save calculator inputs, we do not require an account, and we do not share anything with third parties beyond what is described below.

Important distinction. "Inputs stay in your browser" means the numbers you type into a calculator are processed locally in JavaScript and are never sent to TinyUseful. Page requests, basic analytics, consent choices, and advertising services may involve third-party processing as described in the sections below — that is a separate layer from your calculator inputs.

1. What we do not do

• We do not require an account or email address.
• We do not save the inputs you type into any of the tools. They are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript and are gone the moment you close the tab.
• We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any third-party tracking script.
• We do not use cookies for tracking, fingerprinting, or any other identification.
• We do not have a newsletter signup, popup, or email gate.
• We do not sell, rent, or share user data with anyone.

2. No third-party requests for assets

Fonts are self-hosted on this domain (Montserrat, Inter, and JetBrains Mono, all under the SIL Open Font License). The site does not load fonts, scripts, or other assets from Google CDN, JSDelivr, or any other third-party service. Every request your browser makes goes only to tinyuseful.app (or to the AdSense ad slot, when ads are enabled).

3. What we do collect

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically logs basic information about every request to the website: IP address, user agent (browser and operating system), the page that was requested, and the referring URL. This is standard for all web hosting and is required to deliver the page to you. Cloudflare retains these logs for a limited period for security and abuse prevention.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and visitor statistics without cookies and without storing any personally identifiable information. It does not follow you across websites. You can read Cloudflare's privacy practices at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

4. Advertising

The site displays one advertising slot, clearly labelled Advertisement, between the two tool sections. When this slot is served by Google AdSense, Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show contextually relevant ads and to measure ad performance. You can review Google's advertising policies and opt out of personalised advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

As of the date above, the AdSense slot is a placeholder. This section will remain accurate once advertising is enabled.

5. AI crawlers

We block known AI training crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, anthropic-ai, CCBot, and others) at the Cloudflare edge and via our robots.txt. Search engine crawlers (Googlebot, Bingbot) are permitted so the site remains discoverable.

6. Your rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is in practice nothing we hold about you that we could export or delete on request. If you have questions about anything on this page, write to contact@tinyuseful.app.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site collects or uses data, we will update this page and the Last updated date above. There is no notification mechanism because we have no email list to notify.
